Caustic Ephex is the alias of Harold Brush from Rochester, NY. He began making electronic music in 2008. He found his new love in electronic music back in 2006 after discovering music made by electronic music artist Richard D. James. Ever since then, he felt compelled to start making his own electronic music tracks on an old laptop he had. In 2013, Harold released a few tracks and mixes on BandCamp. It wasn't until 2015 when he produced the tracks for the 2018 release "District No. 3" and also released "Selected Caustic Works" with various tracks made between 2014 and 2017. There is no distinct sound to Caustic Ephex, as he likes to work with all kinds of different sounds of electronic music. Experimental sounds are also heard in certain tracks, and on the 2015 EP "Face In The Hollow". As of late 2017 and 2018, Harold had been working on the recently announced album "Serenity". The album was released in 2019, then a year later in 2020 "Somebody Thinking About You" was released.
